Attending fashion week in Paris (thanks to NatachaSteven.com) has been surreal. I might have not slept for 48 hours in anticipation. Hello dark circles and shots of espresso.
Left: Me at Vanessa Bruno. Right: Bill Cunningham and I, after I insisted on a picture together…a few times.. “Child! I need to work!” I know but yesterday I took a selfie of us and it was too close and my eyes looked puffy Bill, so we need a retake. Je sues désolée.
Stop 1: Roland Mouret at the Hôtel Westin. Unbelievable experience in the front row. Flew by before I could realize this was real life.
Stop 2: Azzaro preview of collection—a nice reception with some comp freshly squeezed juices, which is never a bad thing…and a sparkling collection of cocktail dresses and friendly people.
Stop 3: Jay Ahr fashion show. Stunning MINI dresses on giraffe-like model legs. Short and shiny.
Stop 4: Vanessa Bruno at the Grand Palais. I froze outside, lost sensation in my hands, got a runny nose and felt a little numb, but it was obviously worth it. Beautiful show, black and white/menswear/embellishments on the runway, upbeat music and… Cara Delevingne.
Stop 5: Viktor and Rolf at the Tuileries gardens. Unreal. Decked out street style, Jessica Chastain spotted (up close and personal) and a gorgeous collection in all black and white.
