Please note that all three desserts you will salivate over below were consumed on three different occasions. I don’t care if you don’t believe me. I wouldn’t believe me either…

*Note: special shout out to vovo, my grandma who taught me it was always classier to leave a little something on a lady’s plate. Please zoom to see I left four fries.

Confession: I ate them after the picture. There are starving people…

Part of my plan in Paris is to repeat restaurants the least amount possible, but clearly if I have been to Le relais de L’entrecote three times, there is a reason. Many reasons actually.

1. I am extremely indecisive when it comes to selecting a meal from a menu. There is no option here. The only decision I had to make was how I like my meat cooked, I can handle that.

2. They give you seconds. #fatgirlproblems.

ImageApple tart, profiteroles and caramel crepes. I am definitely more into the first two options, least impressed by the caramel crepes. I think I can get a better one on the street.

Now, information to abide by. The restaurant opens at 7pm and you cannot make reservations. Be a fatass and get there at 6:50 so you don’t have to wait in line. I don’t like waiting in lines.

If you don’t eat meat, don’t go. I was vegetarian for five months before arriving in this country. I popped my veggie cherry with this hunky chunk of beouf upon my first week. It was part of my plan.

You are given a small salad with a mustard dressing and walnuts, 2 servings of steak frites and bread (obviously) for either 25 or 28 euros. Then, you go for the house wine and a dessert…just because.

There are three locations, and a few impostors to avoid (restaurants with names like “L’entrecote” may be deceiving…)

Le Relais de L’Entrecôte, 20 Rue Saint-Benoît or 15 Rue Marbeuf or 101 Blvd du Montparnasse

Just go. Trust me.
