ain’t nothing petite about…

Consuming my penne and Natasha’s fettuccine at Le Petit Italien… But when in search of authentic Italian food, this place definitely hit the spot (shout out to Carly for the recommendation, a foodie I can count on.)  In celebrating Natasha’s 21st birthday, we did it with a nice ball of burrata, some excellent pasta and Italian wine rather than…black out with grey goose. The service shows the hopeful side of getting lucky with your waiters in this country.

left: fettucine in a truffle cream; right: penne with eggplant, mozzarella and basil.

5 stars for the food and 6 for the company. Nothing better than rekindling ancient friendships. I’ll call it vintage at its finest…
Appetizers: 8-14 euros, Pastas: 14-18 euros, risottos: 22 euros… Go.

Le Petit Italien, 5 Rue Saint-Gilles, 75003
