I guess 90 degrees and humid as death = summer time in Miami, so here goes the perfect recipe for survival.
Yes, I fell off the face of the planet for 3 weeks. But I think this post is my redemption point. Also, I promise to share all things devoured along my two week Euro
feast trip. Alert: I found almond milk in Hvar, Croatia. Alert part two: I had whole milk the rest of the trip. I can’t drink straight espresso, what did you want me to do? FML.
Everyone knows that a refreshing beverage is the anthem of summer. Especially in humid, frizz-inducing Miami days, with thick air and hot rain (except on those perfect beach days when it’s 90 and sunny). Sorry, I just came from Madison so I’m trying to readjust to the climate (no complaints).
So…this was my first encounter with an oyster. It had been on my (to eat) bucket list and out of all places, I never thought I would explore the slimy creature in Madison, but I did. The other potential to-eat thing on my list is escargot, but I’ll save that for Paris and it is still very tentative.
For those who live in the UK and were able to get their hands on this 2014 summer collection, bravooo. But for the rest of us around the world, May 7th is the release date. I’m into it. Check out the collection here !
